It also is common for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating policies for gamblers. Supervisors can also plan and arrange activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have clear leadership qualities and excellent communication skills. They need these abilities both to supervise workers efficiently and to greet guests in order to establish return visits. Most casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor’s degree. Regardless of their educational background, however, most supervisors gain expertise in other casino occupations before moving into supervisory areas because knowledge of games and casino operations is quite essential for these workers.
