There are numerous other dominant Iowa gambling dens, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 slot machines, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river based gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slot machines, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open all day and night, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot paddle wheel boat casino in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday twenty-one events.
Iowa casinos present an excellent amount of tax money to the state of Iowa, which has allowed the bankrolling of many commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has increased at a rapid rate accompanied with the request for services and a gain in working people. Iowa casinos have contributed to the growth of the economy, and the excitement for gambling in Iowa is widespread.
