There are many other dominant Iowa gambling halls, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 slots, and 39 table games.

A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a river boat gambling den in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend river boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. Another Iowa paddle wheel boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. riverboat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday twenty-one events.

Iowa casinos offer a great deal of tax income to the commonwealth of Iowa, which has permitted the budgeting of a good many commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has grown at a fast percentage along with the demand for processors and a growth in jobs. Iowa casinos have been helpful to the growth of the market, and the affection for wagering in Iowa is widespread.
